Halwa & Co. is a home-based family business that is women-created, women-led, and women-ran. It aimed to start and grow a business around traditional desi sweets like mithai and kheer and bring to life the pride of our nation and let you experience a unique blend of culture and innovation through the sweetness of their traditional delicacies.
Halwa & co. faced hardship in continuing their initial beliefs of catering to these eastern delicacies via virtual platforms due to large brick-and-mortar businesses in the sweets industry that had been operational for generations. Halwa & Co. needed to divert customer retention away from brands they were loyal to while generating leads for bulk corporate orders. Moreover, they needed to highlight their USPs and become more accessible to the average customer.
After several meetings with Halwa & cos’ team, we decided on a modern design with traditional elements that complemented their conventional menu. Our multi-channel approach when it came to public relations, and community management incorporated the family values Halwa and Co. stood for while marketing their USP’s such as authenticity and hygienic method of production helped differentiate them from their competition and reach out to vast channels of customers allowing them to scale on a much faster level than most home based brands.
Halwa & Co. has effectively entered the online world with the assistance of V Media and now has an established online presence that is continuously rising.
